Sunwoda 3.7v 173ah ternary lithium nmc battery for BEV is a type of lithium-ion battery that uses a nickel manganese cobalt oxide (NMC) cathode material and a graphite anode material. Energy density of the 173Ah ternary cell is as high as 250wh/kg. Volvo lastest new electric car EX30 is now using the cell. there are 3 different configurations.The single motor extended range version and Twin motor performance version is using Sunwoda NMC 173Ah lithium battery cell.
The four-wheel drive version is equipped with an additional electric motor and powered by high discharge rate ternary lithium battery, which accelerates 0-100 km/h in just 3.6 seconds, making it the fastest accelerating Volvo model in history.
