The market has discussed before that semi-solid-state batteries, quasi-solid-state batteries, and all-solid-state batteries can all be called solid-state batteries. After all, "a white horse is also a horse."
On July 16, Lishen Battery’s semi-solid battery was unveiled.
Lishen Battery said its semi-solid-state batteries are mainly used in pure electric passenger cars, electric vertical take-off and landing aircraft (eVTOL) and other fields.
Among them, Lishen Battery’s second-generation semi-solid battery product has been widely used in the field of logistics drones, with a flight range of 300 kilometers, and is expected to be mass-produced in 2025.
The mass-produced products are expected to have better performance than the current test samples because the mass-produced products will be third-generation semi-solid-state batteries. The introduction shows that Lishen’s semi-solid battery with a battery capacity of 92.5Ah supports logistics drones with a higher flight endurance of 350+ kilometers. If applied to pure electric passenger vehicles, the supported ultra-long battery life can reach 1,200+ kilometers.
In terms of energy density, the public data is 402Wh/kg.
In terms of safety, the product passed the 160℃ hot box test.
It is understood that Lishen Battery’s third-generation semi-solid battery product adopts new interface nanomaterial riveted positive electrode technology, low expansion densified silicon-based negative electrode technology, equipped with high modulus binder to improve structural stability, and electronic and ion dual conduction topological network. The technology opens transmission channels for its electric ion flow, highly stable solid-liquid fusion technology ensures body safety and high electrochemical reactions, and organic two-dimensional material coating ultra-thin separator technology improves thermal stability.
In the future, Lishen Battery will develop long-life batteries with an energy density of 500Wh/kg, 9C flash charging, and support for 2000+ cycles to protect the safety and circulation of low-altitude flying machines!
Lishen battery fully upgraded
Not only solid-state batteries, Lishen's batteries in other technical lines are also being greatly upgraded, including but not limited to 46 large cylindrical batteries, ternary manganese iron lithium batteries, manganese iron phosphate lithium batteries, and lithium iron phosphate high specific energy fast charging batteries. , 6C lithium iron supercharged battery, sodium ion supercharged battery, 4C supercharged lithium iron PHEV battery, etc.
In terms of 46 large cylindrical batteries, B sample installation verification by multiple leading car companies has been completed in 2023. Its second-generation product has achieved a higher energy density (to 300Wh/kg) and is expected to be mass-produced in 2025.
In terms of ternary manganese iron lithium batteries, they are mainly used in pure electric passenger cars and can replace ternary products. The cruising range is similar to that of ternary products, further improving safety and cost competitiveness.
In terms of LMFP batteries, they are mainly used in pure electric passenger cars, etc. It is an upgraded product of lithium iron phosphate, and the cruising range can be increased by 15%.
Lithium iron phosphate high specific energy fast-charging batteries are mainly used in pure electric passenger cars. It has balanced and excellent properties such as fast charging, battery life, low temperature, and cost, and is a mainstream product for fast charging passenger cars.
In terms of 6C supercharged lifepo4 battery, they are mainly used in pure electric passenger cars. Extremely fast charging, charging to 80% in 8 minutes, no fear of low temperatures, mass production planned in 2025.
In terms of sodium-ion supercharged batteries, they are mainly used in pure electric passenger cars, plug-in hybrid passenger cars, pure electric forklifts and 12V power supplies. It has fast charging and excellent low-temperature performance, and has been sent samples to many leading domestic and foreign car companies. The next generation of higher energy density products is under development.
In terms of 4C super-charged lithium iron PHEV batteries, they are mainly used in plug-in hybrid passenger cars, etc., and their performance such as fast charging, low temperature and pulse discharge power are domestically leading...
Solid-state battery loading is accelerating
Back to the topic of solid-state batteries. On July 10, the latest data released by the China Automotive Power Battery Industry Innovation Alliance included statistics on the loading of solid-state batteries. Data show that in June, the installed capacity of semi-solid-state batteries reached 532.9MWh, compared with 2154.7MWh from January to June.
It is worth mentioning that for some unknown reason, the Zhiji cars that have been launched should be equipped with semi-solid batteries from Qingtao Energy. However, from January to June this year, only semi-solid batteries from Weilan New Energy were installed in the vehicles, and they did not appear. Other semi-solid-state battery companies.
In fact, almost all power battery companies have already laid out vehicle-grade semi-solid-state batteries. Although currently only Weilan New Energy's semi-solid-state batteries have been installed in vehicles, in the second half of this year, semi-solid-state batteries from more companies will be installed in vehicles.
In addition, Gotion, Lingxin New Energy, Guangzhou Automobile Group, Tailan New Energy, Huineng Technology, etc. have released or released all-solid-state battery products in stages.
The era of solid-state batteries is getting closer.
